Christian Initiation – we are going through it right now.

This book about initiation is available free on Amazon for 5 days from today. I thought it might be good company during this mysterious time. (check the price is $0 before downloading)
This is the second series of weekly reflections. This series focuses on the seven stages of Christian Initiation.
At this stage in evolution it is not possible to devote one’s life to Initiation as it was in the past. Initiation today occurs in everyday living. Essentially Initiation today means the forging of an intimate relationship with our I AM in the presence of the risen Christ.
The spiritual worlds increasingly impress on us the revelation of the mysteries. The Archangel Michael, who ruled the heavens at the time of Christ, is once again regent, bringing the opportunity of understanding the Deed of Golgotha that has not been possible since the event.
If we are open to receive the revelations from the spiritual worlds we notice that they spring into our hearts and minds unheralded. They can vanish as quickly as they came if we do not grasp them. The physical brain and earthly memory cannot be relied upon to record these insights. We must strengthen our etheric being so that we can re-experience them at the appropriate time. It is often best not to speak of our insight when it is newly born in us. Over time our insights become second nature and merge seamlessly into our lives. Contemplation of the bible, especially the Gospel of St John, strengthens our spiritual being and gives our insight a certain maturity.
If we can place these insights into the context of every day life their truth will echo into the lives of those who have ears to hear.
“do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say; for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.” Matt 10:19
May some of the ideas in these reflections become a living seed within you to produce many fragrant flowers in your world.

Kristina, thank you for this wonderful gift! I’ve gotten up so far as your Forward, to the Table of Contents and have to set it aside to think about it. I’ve been reading and studying Steiner for years. You have a way of cutting through to clarity. Blessings to you, Mary
