Staying Calm in the Face of Fear and Anxiety

Things will get more intense while human beings fail to experience soul and spirit – in themselves and in the world. However we do this is up to us, but do it we must.

When we regard ourselves simply as physical beings, and this earth as dust, we are essentially committing the soul and spirit to suicide. We can do this in the smallest ways during the day when we give our body priority over our soul and spirit.

For instance, when we eat, do we think of all the forces of man and nature that made it possible for the food to be on our plate? Or are we grateful to all those who deal with our waste?

Not being mindful of these things, closes us off to the soul and spirit of the earth and leaves us with feelings of fear and anxiety. The only resolution is to know that our spirit is eternal and the only way it can be damaged is if we ignore it. How do we ignore it? By not developing our soul faculties of thinking, feeling and will through which we can remain calm and relaxed in the face of any event.

“Whatever the next hour or day may bring, I cannot change it by fear or anxiety, for it is not yet known. I will therefore wait for it with complete inward restfulness, perfect tranquility of mind. Anyone who can meet the future in this calm, relaxed way, without impairing his active strength and energy, will be able to develop the powers of his soul freely and intensively. It is as if hindrance after hindrance falls away, as the soul comes to be more and more pervaded by this feeling of humbleness toward approaching events.” Rudolf Steiner

My book explains in very simple terms how to experience soul and spirit.

“We are at a crisis point in evolution, a pivotal time for humanity.

This book explains that we are beings of body, soul and spirit and that, for too long, knowledge of our soul and spirit has been ignored. Do we have a complete picture of a car by describing its shell, its shape and colour, while ignoring the engine, mechanics and the driver? The truth is that our physical body without our soul and spirit is just an empty shell. There is a good case to make that, because we think of our total being as just a physical body, we are at such a crisis point.

It is like driving a car down a foggy road; the headlights of the car shine through the mist to illuminate everything. The strength of the light depends on the liveliness of our soul. This image demonstrates how our “I” works through our body and soul, using the faculties of feeling, thinking and willing to the extent that it can connect with our soul. There are moments when the lights shine brightly, the “I” has put them on high beam, and we see more than the fog that surrounds us. We have a wider view, one that places us in relation to the world. The “I” is driving the car (our body) and through the headlights (our soul) it can have a wider view. The reflected light assists us to see within the car as well. Take a moment to create this image in your mind and experience the interaction between your body, soul and “I”.” I Connecting by Kristina Kaine

  1. The above image reminds me of the EYE of the storm ,a hurricane.the Eye is Light ,and absolutely calm…it is a reminder that our MAKER who created the stars and universe knows our every Need (not want) .the need is to Awaken to our highest Potential (our I AM) ,this process takes trauma ,and Shock to jolt us out of our moribund state…this is why WAR will continue to increase in intensity ,and spread to more regions, indeed we are facing the War of all Wars …within us (microcosmos) and in the world and the universes (macro cosmos) ..if we are CHRISTED MICHAEL WARRIORS then Spiritual Warfare is a constant moment by moment Event….if we become too comfortable (in materialistic per suits) we run the risk of becoming complacent…Pearls are made through the constant irritatation of grit..yet this is how wisdom (Sophia) is born…..on you tube the song THE PEARL by Emmy Lou Harris (2006) is a lovely reminder of our continuing struggle to become a SOPHIA…..Moira HONOVER…

  2. In these Crucial Momentous Times ,the Teachings of the CHRIST will be given in a more profound deeper way….Listen……to the VOICE within your Soul and you will hear the Highest TRUTH of all….That we are all GODS in the making….That our SOURCE is from the heart of GOD displayed so perfectly in the Stars….The higher the ASCENT …the harder the TESTS and Temptations….Until you find you are entirely alone on the Highest Mountain of CONSCIOUSNESS…..facing THE CHRIST ……in silence….there are no words ……….2 songs express what cannot be fully realised…The Sound of Silence by Disturbed…..2) Bohemian Skies live in Odeon. By a Master Musician called ESTAS TONNE. Both on you tube..Moira Lorraine …

Thank you Moira. Incredible version of this famous song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bk7RVw3I8eg

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I’ve come to talk with you again
    Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
    Still remains
    Within the sound of silence

In restless dreams I walked alone
    Narrow streets of cobblestone
‘Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
    That split the night
And touched the sound of silence

And in the naked light I saw
    Ten thousand people, maybe more
    People talking without speaking
    People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share
    And no one dared
    Disturb the sound of silence

Fools, said I, you do not know
    Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you
But my words, like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the wells of silence

And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
And the sign said, the words of the prophets are written on the subway walls
    And tenement halls
And whispered in the sounds of silence
